My love of dogs continually develops as I get to know more and more breeds but I did love entering into the world of lurchers when I sculpted these two dogs. It was their calm and serene nature which I loved the most – they just can't help but move and act with such elegance, and that is what I wanted to portray in this bronze animal sculpture of two lurchers. I was also interested in the communication between two dogs, and so in this bronze sculpture, with one standing and one lying dog, I leave the question with the viewer – who is dominating who?
